ဆရာမ ဒေါ် ဥမ္မာကျော် (teacher Daw Ohmmar Kyaw)
She is one of the two teachers, who were abducted four days ago on 16th June 2022 in Maugdaw township just a few miles away from Myanmar-Bangladeshi border.
The perpetrators asked for a ransom of 5 millions taka in return for their release. The victims’ families (or friends or authorities acting on their behalf) have already sent 2 millions taka into a bank account of a Bangladeshi Bank, reports say.
An important piece of information to note is that Chittagonian Bengali speaking terrortists are using Bangladeshi institutions, such as a bank.
